Scott, who was also fined $200, pleaded guilty earlier this month to child endangerment and called his actions "stupid and reckless." Scott said he put the plastic bag over his son's head to show the boy there was nothing to fear.

Vols coach Fulmer subpoenaed at SEC media days
10 hours ago Hoover, Ala. — The lawyer for Tennessee coach Phillip Fulmer said his client was "ambushed" when he was served with a subpoena Thursday just prior to appearing at the SEC football media days. Knoxville attorney Jeff Hagood told the AJC that someone "basically threw something" in Fulmer's general direction when he got out of his SUV with the Tennessee traveling party at the Wynfrey Hotel. "Basically what these people did was hijack the SEC media days in order to generate some publicity," Hagood said. "Unfortunately, it worked."

Danica not apologetic about incident with other female driver
12 hours ago Edmonton, Alberta — A week after a confrontation with fellow driver Milka Duno that quickly became a popular YouTube video, Danica Patrick said her only regret is not thinking about how public it would be. The incident took place in the pits at Mid-Ohio Sports Car Course after last Saturday's morning practice, when Patrick walked to the wall behind Duno's pit to talk to the Venezuelan driver about getting in her way on the track. Duno didn't want to talk with Patrick and kept telling her to "go away," even tossing a towel in her direction once and then in her face before Patrick finally walked away. The incident, which lasted about one minute, was caught by an amateur photographer on video.
