A pregnant woman and teenager are dead after witnesses said two killers walked up to a home with rifles and started shooting. According to family members, the pregnant woman in her 20's was four months along. Now, she is dead as is an 18-year-old found lying on a porch at 9th and Indiana in Kansas City, Missouri.
Beloved Kansas City Zoo Chimp Dies

Jimmie, one of the Zoo's all-time favorite animals, died Wednesday morning, Aug. 27, at the Zoo. He was 41. Keepers said Jimmie collapsed early Wednesday before going on exhibit. He was being treated for heart disease and was on daily medications.

A fight broke out in an unlikely place, the lobby of the Kansas City Missouri Police Headquarters. Surveillance cameras recorded the entire thing, and a father and son are charged. Police said Willis Cole Senior and his son, Willis Cole Jr., went to police headquarters because they were upset at police officers. Police said an officer ended up getting hit and officers had to use a taser to get things under control.
